What is Leksell Gamma Knife® Icon™

The Leksell Gamma Knife® Icon™ is a non-invasive treatment for brain tumors and other brain issues. It is a clinically proven method to treat intracranial (within the skull) locations – such as the brain, brainstem or the trigeminal nerve.

The aim of this screening program is to pick up very early cancers in healthy individuals, who do not have symptoms, or in some cases to prevent cancer.

Should existing cancer patients undergo the screening program?

The screening program is designed for individuals who do not have a history of cancer or have not yet been diagnosed. Existing cancer patients should seek further consultation with a specialist.
