Medical Evacuation

We make it a point to dispatch most of our medical evacuation flights as soon as possible. Even if a patient has been cleared to travel by their treating physician, we believe it is critical to inquire about their medical condition or the treatment they are receiving, especially to ensure that the appropriate medical equipment and ground ambulance that will transport them to the air ambulance/scheduled airliner is available.

How to organise a medical evacuation?

Step 1: Contact us

Contacting us is the first step in booking a medical evacuation flight. Patient’s relatives / caregivers can reach us by phone or e-mail. Our representatives are available 8am -10pm, seven days a week and IPC Doctor will gladly call you back at no cost to discuss long-distance medevac transfer and determine patient needs.

Step 2: Share the patient’s medical information

Patient’s relatives / caregivers must provide complete medical report and personal documents.

We will inform Patient’s relatives / caregiver appropriate consultant who can accept case. We will brief you on all flight plans that have been completed. We may require some important information for this.

It should be noted that even if the patient's treating physician has declared them fit to travel, the commercial airline always has the final authority on a scheduled flight. If the patient is being evacuated in an ambulance jet, the accompanying flight doctor has the final say on whether or not the patient is fit to fly.

Step 3: Have the relevant travel documents ready

Patient and companion will need proper identification papers. Bring your passport, and, if necessary, a travel visa. Also, we can assist in applying for medical visas.

For any other inquiries, kindly contact +60 19-224 4179.
